Dear Friends,

Rand and I got married Saturday, May 31, 2008, barefoot on the beach at the Four Seasons Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii. In attendance were Lauren and Jesse, his twin 21-year old daughters, and Greg, my 25-year old son. If I could have written the script for the perfect wedding, it would not have been nearly as wonderful as what actually happened. Rand planned the whole thing — all I had to do was buy a dress and show up! What a luxury! The ceremony took place on a secluded beach at sunset with a cellist and violinist playing before and after the ceremony — Rand and I wrote the words that the reverend (a wonderful Jewish woman) spoke with the surf crashing in the background; we said words to each other and our kids and there were hundreds of tiny white orchids strewn on the sand.

After the ceremony, an exquisite 2-tiered cake arrived for just the 5 of us. The kids then took off for dinner at one of the resort’s restaurants and Rand and I were whisked away in a golf cart to another remote part of the beach for a private dinner for 2 on the sand with a beautiful table setting lit by torches.

Please enjoy these pictures of our fantastic, magical day that were taken by my son. Click here to see photos.

Also, please enjoy pictures taken by the wedding photographer: Click here to see the wedding photographer’s photos.
